Fall Favorite: Avocado Milk Shake

Avocado season is one thing to look forward to when Summer ends. And there’s no better way to welcome Fall then with a creamy rich avocado milk shake.

I am spoiled to have a backyard where I can easily pick my avocados fresh from my avocado tree and patiently wait for them to ripen. Different cultures have their avocado in various ways, I grew up eating avocados with milk and sugar. Every year around September, my body craves for a nutritious avocado milkshake. Rich, velvety goodness!
And as a treat for all of our readers, I am sharing this quick and easy recipe with all of you.Β  It is decadence in a glass, I swear!

2 servings
5 minute prep time
1 large Avocado
1/2 cup coconut milk
3 tablespoons of condensed milk
Non fat Milk
Ice Cubes

Preparation: Cut the avocado open and take off the pit and peel of the skin.Place the avocado, coconut milk, condensed milk, and ice cubes in the blender and puree until it is completely smooth. Add non fat milk if a thinner consistency is desired. Taste and add more condensed milk if necessary. Serve the avocado shake in two tall glasses and Enjoy!

Guilty Pleasure? Not at all, avocados contain the good fats so feel free to indulge and enjoy with no regrets.
